Unlike aluminum armor MC Cable, MC TUFF with its steel armor can be used with inexpensive die-cast, set-screw connectors. Aluminum armor requires the use of more expensive saddle type connectors. At an industry average run length of 11 feet, that can mean a lot of connectors and subsequent cost savings on a large project.
