The Intelligent Floor and Intelligent Ceiling are modular wiring systems, providing power, voice and data in a single integrated system. The zone wiring approach of these systems provide improved cable management, greater flexibility and the cost and quality efficiencies of a factory-built system.
The Intelligent Ceiling Telecom System is a TIA/EIA568B compliant zone wiring system, which is fully prefabricated at the factory to the highest performance standards currently Cat5E and completely tested before shipping to the job site.
The unique ACS/Uni-Fab Zone Distribution Box (ZDB) with home-run , bundles and armors up to 4-pair of conductors in lengths up to 75m. This unique component is punched down in the unit, everything else in the system is plug and play. Simply place the ZDB's in strategic locations throughout the space, plug the ACS Telecom Extender into the male plug and run to the faceplate in auto.
The advantages of the ACS/Uni-Fab IC Telecom System mirror those of the Power System. Lower installed cost, more flexibility to make future MAC's at reduced expense and accelerated depreciation are benefits. And just as in the IF System, the IC Telecom Systems's failure rate approaches 0%.
The IC Telecom System also eliminates the need for a cable tray, a way to create significant cost reductions.
