Peter Lariviere

President Cable Solutions

Mr. Lariviere has served as President of Cable Solutions since September 2015, after serving as President-AFC Cable business unit from January 2015 until September 2015. Mr. Lariviere joined Atkore as Chief Operating Officer in September 2013, with responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, distribution and logistics. Mr. Lariviere was previously President of Storage and Workplace Solutions, a division of Stanley Black and Decker, from 2010 until 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Lariviere was Chief Executive Officer at Lista International Corporation. Mr. Lariviere also held several positions at Amesbury Group Inc., including Senior Vice President-Window Hardware Division and Group Vice President. Mr. Lariviere holds a Masters in Business Administration from New Hampshire College and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He also is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Keith Sherman

VP Financial Controller, Cable Solutions

Mr. Sherman has worked with AFC Cable Systems® for 11-years. Previously, Mr. Sherman served as Director of Finance for Intermark Fabric Corporation, located in Plainfield, CT. Immediately prior to Intermark, Mr. Sherman worked with Ernst & Young as an audit senior within the Southern New England area.

He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received a Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting major. He earned his CPA license in 1995 from the State of Rhode Island.

Justin Payne

VP Human Resources, Cable Solutions

Justin joined Atkore in July 2015 as Vice President of HR for Unistrut® International and joined Cable Solutions in October 2016. Prior to joining Atkore, Justin was the Director of Human Resources at Prestone Products Corporation based in Chicago, IL. Justin also held multi-plant and regional HR roles with Honeywell and Pella Corporation, based in Salt Lake City, UT and held various progressive early career roles, at Hunter Douglas. These roles have included diverse industry experience and extensive HR functional expertise.

Justin holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Utah.

Paul Burns

Sr. Director Logistics and Cable Management

Paul joined Atkore in September 2014. He previously served as Dr. Manager – Supply Chain at Corindus Vascular Robotics in Waltham, MA Prior to that, Paul was Director-Supply Chain Management with Boston Scientific where he worked for 10 years driving best practices in Logistics and Warehousing.  Paul has also held Director-level positions within the logistics and materials planning disciplines at other manufacturing firms.

Paul is a graduate of Brandeis University where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and History.  Paul is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and APICS Certified CPIM, and he also received a certificate in Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.

Tom Pinchuk

Director of Marketing and Business Development, Cable Solutions

Tom joined AFC in October 2015. Tom was co-founder of Wallflower Inc., a consumer electronics firm in Boston, MA that specialized in the development of home safety devices. Prior to that, Tom was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Stanley Black & Decker in Boston, MA where he was responsible for growing the storage business through vertical markets and expanded offerings. Previously, he was the Global Portfolio Manager for Electronic Tools, Controls and Automation at Ingersoll Rand in Davidson, NC.

Tom received his MBA from Indiana University, a Master of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering also from McGill.

Richard Salvadore

Director of Sales

Joining AFC in 1983, Richard successfully performed varying roles in sales and distribution.  His early days were devoted to telemarketing, where, as part of a team of three, Richard participated in the introduction and promotion of a new product, MC Cable, which now represents the bulk of the AFC product line.  He quickly moved into sales and customer service and then into distribution and inventory planning and scheduling.  As the company grew, he rejoined the sales department in an inside sales supervisory capacity.  In time, he moved into inside sales management and was promoted to National Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager before taking his current role as Director of Sales.  His preference for a fast paced environment is reflected in his personal life as well, where he enjoys skiing, travel, exercise and culinary pursuits.  He resides in Rhode Island with his family and is a graduate of Providence College where he earned a B.S. in Business Management.  He also spent a year studying at the Universite de Fribourg in Fribourg, Switzerland where he was afforded the opportunity to learn the benefits of a diverse and connected world well before the advent of the internet.

Mike Vertente

Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Quality

Mr. Vertente has served in this role since 2002. He has held a number of increasingly responsible positions at AFC from Project Engineer to Engineering Manager overseeing a number of facility and process enhancements. Prior to joining AFC, Mr. Vertente worked at Kaman Aerospace Corp. In Mr. Vertente’s tenure of 22 years, he was involved in many notable product introductions including our patented Color Spec® Product. Along with several business acquisitions and plant consolidations, Mr. Vertente has been involved in many key projects to make AFC competitive in today’s market place.

Mr. Vertente has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southeastern Massachusetts University (currently UMass-Dartmouth).

Albilio Fernandes

Director of Cable Operations

Mr. Fernandes joined AFC in 1990 shortly after completing his undergraduate degree. He is responsible for all manufacturing operations at AFC. Mr. Fernandes has held various positions within AFC including roles in quality assurance, process engineering, Plant Manager of ACS Unit 2, Plant Manager of AFC Fullerton and Plant Manager of FDR, AFC’s largest Plant.

Mr. Fernandes has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the Phoenix University.
